Current research projects and interests
I am currently involved in a research project, or a group of related research projects, about object detection and recognition based on evidence extraction and spatial constellation models (OBJECT). Currently I am concentrating on sub-projects concerning object evidence extraction (EVEX) and efficient implementation of Gabor filtering (SIMPLEGABOR). The object detection method has been applied to for example face detection (FACEDETECT).

Other research stuff
- I have received numerous emails, even a few requests for reviewing conference or journal articles, about a paper I wrote for a seminar course about Keystroke dynamics. It's nice if it is useful but don't take me as an authority ;).
- Some data was available from Movielens, so I decided to try organizing movies based on who likes the same movies.

Some not-so-research oriented stuff but I'm too lazy to make a new page:- Measuring fragmentation in ext3 filesystems (should work for most other linux-filesystems).
