I am a member of the research group Uncertainty Quantification and Inverse Problems at the Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology.

I am a former member of the research group Inverse Problems at the Universität Duisburg-Essen.

I have received my doctoral degree from the Universität Duisburg-Essen. My supervisor has been Prof. Christian Clason.

Before, I have studied mathematics at the Technische Universität München.

My research interests

are, i.a., statistical and Bayesian inverse problems with high- or infinite-dimensional parameter space, the rigorous statistical interpretation of variational regularisation methods in the context of nonparametric Bayesian inference, and Gaussian approximations of the posterior distribution for nonlinear Bayesian inverse problems.
